Ever wonder what it’s like to have the museum all to yourself? Now you can find out when you host your invitation-only, after-hours event at the museum. Our 2-hour private rentals of the museum are available outside of general admission hours on Saturdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm. 75 person maximum.

Included:

  • 2-hour use of museum and party room, which includes a refrigerator and kid sized tables and chairs (seating limited to children only).
  • Full use of the museum during party.
  • FREE admission for your guests. All children must have adult supervision.
  • A helpful party host who will be available to assist you with setup 20 minutes prior to the party start time and will clean up when the party is over.

All you need to bring is the food and paper goods. Please check with your guests concerning any food allergies. To be safe, we strongly suggest avoiding peanut products and oils including Chick-fila-a chicken.

 Top 5 Birthday Party Questions & Answers for Parents!

#1 What time should we arrive for set up?

     Plan on arriving no more than 20 minutes before the scheduled start time. We cannot offer you entrance to your party room any earlier.

#2 What do I need to bring?
      Please provide all paper goods (plates, napkins, cups, tablecloths, utensils) food and goody bags. Be sure pizza deliveries arrive within 30 minutes of the start of your party.  

#3 How much food should I bring?

     TRUST US – KEEP FOOD TO A MINIMUM. Our parties are designed to focus on the children. Please bring in enough food/drink for the children only. Suggested food items are pizza or sandwiches small water bottles or juice boxes and, of course, birthday cake or cupcakes. We have a refrigerator for juice boxes, water bottles, etc. Please keep all food and drinks in the party room.

#4 What shouldn’t I bring?    

     The following items are not allowed: Hanging decorations, balloons (due to health & safety issues), busen burners, chafing dishes, warmers, crock pots, toaster ovens, sparklers, piñatas, confetti, streamers, taped items, glitter and silly string. No outside vendors allowed. No alcohol. No peanut products.

#5 What is the private rental timeline?

4:10pm: Party parents/family arrive 4:10pm for set up.

4:30pm: Guests arrive and are greeted by museum staff. Food and drink available in party room so guests can eat at their leisure.

5:45pm: guests gather to sing Happy Birthday and serve cake.

6:30pm: Host will clean party room and party favors can be handed out at the conclusion of party, but are not allowed on the museum floor.

Gratuity for your party host is not included in the party price, but very much appreciated!
